| | Ebay shopping | | I must say that I raely go out and buy my clothes anymore. I have been given £40 worth of Next Vouchers but have just sold them on Ebay for £37. My plan is now to use that moeny to go shopping on Ebay. I just wondered how many people does all their clothes shopping online. By doing it on Ebay I get loads of top branded goods really cheap. My favouries are French Connection and Ralph Lauren. I would not be able to afford to buy these clothese otherwise. | |

| | Actor Roy Scheider Dead | | Just thought I would pass along the sad news about the death today of actor Roy Scheider. Reportedly, he had been ill for some time, and passed away while in the hospital. I remember him from the Jaws movies and from The French Connection, but I liked him best in a movie called 52 Pickup. | |

French Connection is a company founded in the United Kingdom in 1969 which sells clothing and accessories in many parts of the world. In April 1997, French Connection began branding their clothes "fcuk" (usually written in lowercase). Though they insisted it was an acronym for French Connection United Kingdom, its similarity o the word "**** " caused controversy. French Connection fully exploited this and produced an extremely popular range of t-shirts with messages such as "fcuk this", "hot as fcuk", "mile high fcuk" "fcuk me","too busy to fcuk", "fcuk life", "fcuk football", "fcuk fashion" and god knows waat more...
