| Do you find cooking extremely hard for you? | | As this week, I did my best to try variety of cooking, not the complicated ones, but the easy one I saw my mom did on the kitchen. I simply beat myself to the bottom. It seems easy when I look at my mom did it, but when I get my hands on it, it is totally different story to tell. I may neglect some steps, or I might done something not right, but the end result is totally far from what I get from my mom. I just find cooking extremely hard for me, but I have to keep on trying, not giving it up that easy. I might have to wait for mom come back from her vacation, and teach me all over again. | |

| Have you ever been afraid of cooking? | | When I first started, I was afraid and nervous I would mess something up. As I went on, it became easier and I liked it more and more.
Still, I've heard of some people who are afraid to cook, because they think they'll burn the house down or something. Has anyone ever felt like this before?
| | What kind of food are you good at cooking? | | I love to cook and I try to cook anything and everything but I am not really very good at everything also. There are just some recipes that I can get right every time and my favorite is making some "palabok". Its a Filipino dish influenced by Chinese dishes. Its a mixture of shrimp paste and some pork or chicken placed on top of a special kind of pasta. I love making it cause even if the ingredients are not complete, I still get the right taste that's really good.
What are you good at when you're cooking something every time? What kind of food is it?
| | MY first cooking blog! | | I cooked a couple of my own family recipes last Saturday and I took pictures on them. I didn’t realized that I was on my way posting those in blogger and voila I had already my first cooking blog. I am planning to add some adsense blogs so that I can earn through that blog just what I do to my other blogs but I haven’t tried adsense yet. I only had my bidvertizer for it. Do you have your own cooking blog too? It’s really a nice feeling to have one since I have this passion of cooking. | |

| i want to learn more on cooking.. | | believe it or not but i only use to boil water for coffee or tea. i don't know any single kind of food that are being cooked. really i want to learn to cook but how?? | |
| | I learn from my first cooking lesson | | My parents were on vacation, so I have to cook myself at home. I couldn't eat out every single day, that is out of budget. So, I decided to go to publix and shop the other day. I bought some T-bone steak and Italian sausage, I try to cook eventually.
I heat up the skillet with cooking oil, and pan fry the T- bone steak with any seasoning or marinate with any sauce. Yeah, I well - done the steak, but without any taste on it. Although I add the A - 1 sauce on top of the steak, it still tasted yucky. What am I missing here? Marinate the steak with some sauce; maybe grill it in the oven for 20 minutes or so, then fry it with the skillet. Is that right?

| If you use tomato puree (paste) in cooking it has great benefits!! | | I do a lot of Italian style cooking and do get through quite a lot of tomato puree.
Tomato purée is a processed food consisting of only tomatoes,(although it can be bought with garlic, herbs etc added) It lacks the additives that are used in tomato sauces..
If using an American recipe you will see tomato purée referred to as concentrated tomato paste.Tomato puree is an excellent ingredient for use in low fat and healthy cooking, if following Weight Watchers you do not need to count the puree.

It is also good added to curries.
Because the flavour is very strong, use sparingly or else it can overpower the other ingredients if not.
As well as an essential store cupboard ingredient you would be surprised to know that tomato puree is also claimed to be a an anti-aging...
